About Continews

Continews is a passionate company. We work with great enthusiasm on stories from clients in order to bring out a story every month. We are focused on monthly results and are analytical to convert sales data and research results into effective PR.

Corporate identity

In 2016 we discovered that it works very well if you continuously feed media with content that is interesting to them; this way you can generate media attention with trade media, nationwide media, or regional media on a monthly basis. This concept was – and still is – rather unique in the field. We noticed that this structural way of working significantly increased the brand awareness for our clients, and that it also had two valuable side effects: more and more, our clients were being considered authorities in their field, and as a result they would show up in media more often, while their conversion increased at the same time. We created our so-called ‘PR-subscription’: a service within Van Diemen PR that created media coverage for organisations on a monthly basis. Later we rebranded PR-subscription into Continews B.V.

We don’t believe you need to come up with convoluted plans before you can start generating free publicity. We hit the ground running on day one.

We believe you should automate processes where necessary, and we have succeeded in doing so for most of our processes. We have not automated our expertise and our creativity with which we manage to get our clients in the news every month.

While expanding our client portfolio, the need arose to create an independent service. In order to do so on a professional level, we decided to have a meeting with some clever relations of ours and an office specialised in branding. 

 

The name Continews is the result: a ‘porte-manteau word’ consisting of the words ‘continu’ and ‘news’. A brand name that straight away tells you what service we offer.

 

Our mission: we are continuously looking for ways to tell the stories behind organisations and businesses. 

We keep track of developments in society and find out what these mean for our clients and their target audiences. We keep track of who writes what and supply these people with information that’s specifically relevant to them. Not only do we brainstorm with our clients about societal developments, we also do so with our media relations. This way we proactively meet the needs of both parties, which is beneficial for good press coverage.

 

We keep track of all these publications in an online results environment. Here you get an overview of the mentions, the reach and the media value of all publications. This transparency is unique in our industry. Clients can straight away see the value their investment brought them.

Good PR can lead to so many beautiful things! The ‘competition’ to attract the attention of the right target audience is a very dynamic one. Because we are so excited about this game we share a lot: we post blogs every week, we organise five interactive knowledge sessions (teaser meetings) each year and we often share cases, so that others can learn from our experience.

An end result is a sum that is the outcome of the collaboration between separate parts. We are very much aware of that. You can’t have a vision without a good strategy, you can’t have a great packaging of your message without a gifted designer, you can’t have great content without an excellent copywriter, you can’t have a great client relationship without a good account manager and you can’t have great quality without good suppliers.
